Our Story
In 2018, Sixes Car Service was created to meet the growing need of affordable transportation to and from the Atlanta Airport . Since then, Sixes Car Service has expanded by providing transportation for weddings, parties, wine tastings and other social events.
North Georgia is a booming area for weddings because of the popularity of outdoor wedding venues. In 2020, Sixes Car Service expanded and created North Georgia Wedding Transportation.
Unlike other wedding transportation companies, the owners drive and are on-site to insure a stress free and memorable event. Our drivers live locally and include off duty Deputies from the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office.
Our #1 priority is the safety of our passengers. It is important that our drivers have a clean driving record and are very familiar with the area.
Meet The Owners
Jay Patouillet – Owner & Operator of North Georgia Wedding Transportation
Jay & Marlyn Patouillet have lived in Cherokee County for over 20 years.
Born in Long Island, New York and raised in Florida receiving his BA in Business from The University of South Florida. Studied abroad in Europe and the Mediterranean while learning about many cultures. His experiences made him appreciate our great country even more.
For 25+ years, worked in the corporate world for several Fortune 500 companies including: Colgate Palmolive, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and most recently Legrand North America (largest electrical manufacturer in the world). Held senior management positions in Sales, Logistics, Manufacturing, Marketing and New Product Development.
Served on various non-profit boards, Vice President of the Hemlock Farms Homeowner’s Association, President of BridgeMill Homeowner’s Association, Member of the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Termination Appeals Board (selected by Sheriff Roger Garrison and the Board of Cherokee County Commissioners), Sixes Community Coalition (Citizen oversight committee for controlled growth and quality of life for the residents on the Sixes corridor).
Marlyn Patouillet - Co-Owner and Operator of North Georgia Wedding Transportation
Born and raised in Orlando, Florida receiving her BA in Elementary/Early Childhood Education from the University of South Florida.
Professional Career spans over 30+ years in Education, Teaching and Tutoring , Computer Consultant and Trainer for a software company, Housing Counselor for a non-profit organization, Administrative and Office Manager and Membership Director at a Country Club in Cherokee County.
Served as President and Chairman of the Board for BSSL (BridgeMill Sixes Service League), a non-profit organization raising money for needy women, children and families in Cherokee County. Through Bridge Mill Sixes Service League, many good friends and volunteers, Golf FORE Charity raised over $150,000 over a period of 7 years. Jay & Marlyn organized this yearly event and monies raised helped the following charities in Cherokee County:
American Cancer Society, Angel House, Bethany’s Equine & Aquatic Therapy, CASA for Children, Cherokee Family Violence Center, Give A Kid A Chance, Goshen Valley Boys Ranch, MUST Ministries, Papa’s Pantry, Reinhardt University A Day Scholarship, The HOPE Center and Turn Around Ministries.
