About Us
North Georgia Wedding Transportation
Our Story
In 2018, Sixes Car Service was born out of a desire to provide safe, affordable, and trusted transportation to and from the Atlanta Airport. What began as a small local service quickly grew to meet the needs of our community, expanding to include wedding transportation, wine tours, and other memorable events throughout North Georgia. In 2020, inspired by the region’s stunning outdoor wedding venues, we created North Georgia Wedding Transportation, a service dedicated to making special days as seamless and joyful as possible.
Unlike traditional wedding transportation companies, we bring a personal touch to every event. As owners, we’re not just behind the scenes—we’re often on-site, greeting guests and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Our drivers are part of our local community, including off-duty deputies from the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office who share our commitment to safety and excellence. Your special day matters to us because we’re part of the community, and our goal is to create a worry-free, memorable experience that reflects the beauty and warmth of North Georgia.
Meet The Owners
Meet Jay and Marlyn Patouillet
Jay and Marlyn have called Cherokee County home for over 20 years, raising their family and building deep roots within the community. They bring their shared passion for service, dedication to safety, and love for North Georgia to every wedding and event they’re a part of.
Jay Patouillet – Co-Owner and Operator
Jay grew up in Long Island and Florida, eventually earning a BA in Business from the University of South Florida and spending time studying abroad in Europe and the Mediterranean. These experiences gave him a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and a renewed love for the welcoming community here in Cherokee County. After more than 25 years in the corporate world with companies like Colgate Palmolive, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, and Legrand North America, where he held senior roles in logistics, marketing, and product development, Jay chose to focus on local endeavors and serving his community.
Jay has a long history of community involvement, serving on nonprofit boards and working as President of the BridgeMill Homeowners Association. His commitment to Cherokee County is further reflected in his role with the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Termination Appeals Board and his work with the Sixes Community Coalition, where he advocates for responsible growth and quality of life along the Sixes corridor.
Marlyn Patouillet – Co-Owner and Operator
Originally from Orlando, Marlyn holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Florida. She has dedicated over 30 years to serving children, families, and the community in roles that range from teaching and tutoring to nonprofit leadership. In Cherokee County, Marlyn has been an administrative leader, membership director, and, notably, President and Chairman of the Board for the BridgeMill Sixes Service League, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families in need.
Through events like Golf FORE Charity, which raised over $150,000 in seven years for local charities, Marlyn and Jay have made a lasting impact on organizations like the American Cancer Society, CASA for Children, and MUST Ministries. For them, North Georgia Wedding Transportation is an extension of their community commitment—a way to give back by helping couples and families experience a joyful, stress-free day on some of the most special occasions of their lives.
Jay and Marlyn believe that every wedding and celebration deserves a safe, thoughtful, and truly personal touch. At North Georgia Wedding Transportation, we’re honored to be part of your big day, treating every moment with the care, dedication, and warmth that our community deserves.
